Job summary

International Schools Partnership in Doha, Qatar, seeks a Learning Assistant to support teaching staff in delivering curriculum access for students. You will help prepare resources, manage classroom activities and assist with safeguarding and welfare throughout the school day.

The role involves supervising pupils, implementing learning activities, and supporting inclusion and individual needs under the guidance of teachers and senior staff.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths grade C or above
• Experience working with primary children
• Experience developing and preparing learning resources
• Some experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs (ALN)

Responsibilities

• Establish productive relationships with children and act as a role model.
• Support children consistently and respond to individual needs.
• Promote inclusion and interaction in classroom activities.
• Assist with implementing IEPs and monitoring learning responses.
• Help prepare equipment, displays and resources for activities.
• Supervise and assist groups, including poolside duties as needed.
• Contribute to safeguarding and health & safety policies.
