Job summary

The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl Qatar is hiring a Laundry Attendant to operate washing and drying equipment, manage linen, and ensure pristine garments for a luxury hospitality brand.

You will follow strict safety procedures and maintain neat records while supporting a professional housekeeping team. Ideal candidates will accommodate physical tasks, handle heavy loads up to 25 pounds, and work across high-end guest services with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No high school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate washing and drying machinery, add chemicals and clean lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and determine status for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
• Inspect cleanliness of articles after washing/drying and place in clean linen carts.
• Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabrics.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens and filters after each load.
• Fold cleaned articles into designated sizes, by hand or folding machine.
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered.
• Follow safety and security policies; report accidents and complete safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance and protect company assets.
• Develop and maintain positive team relationships and support common goals.
