Job summary

Nexavision Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for Al-Khor, Qatar to collect and label blood samples, maintain records, and ensure proper disposal of medical waste. You will transport specimens to the lab and adhere to safety standards. Flexible hours including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in phlebotomy or related field preferred
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a similar role
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy equipment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain the blood drawing procedure
• Prepare equipment and supplies needed for blood collection
• Identify patient and verify their information before collecting blood
• Perform venipuncture or fingersticks to collect blood samples
• Properly label and store collected samples
• Transport samples to the laboratory for testing
• Maintain accurate records of all collected samples
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times
• Dispose of medical waste properly
