Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with at least two years of experience in retail or hospital/clinic pharmacy setting.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, abbreviations, dosage forms and generic/brand drug names.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Immigrant status is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• The accurate dispensing of prescribed medications, verifying dosage forms, strengths and quantities.
• Informing patients on proper use of medications.
• Handling questions and complaints.
• Providing advice on the selection of medications.
• Recommending drug information resources.
• Maintaining patient profiles.
• Preparing and maintaining medication records.
• Monitoring medication therapy results.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.
