Job summary

Woopel is urgently seeking a Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of petroleum engineering projects, from planning and design to execution and evaluation.

This is a full-time position with visa and ticket provided for Indian nationals. Key responsibilities include researching reserves, designing drilling plans, monitoring activities, optimizing production, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in petroleum engineering.
• Knowledge of drilling operations, production techniques, and reservoir management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to identify potential oil and gas reserves
• Design drilling and production plans based on geological data
• Monitor drilling activities and make necessary adjustments to optimize production
• Develop cost-effective methods for extracting oil and gas
• Evaluate well performance and make recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including geologists, geophysicists, and reservoir engineers
