Overview

We are currently hiring a skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar. As a Petroleum Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing methods for extracting oil and gas from below the earth’s surface. You will use your expertise in drilling techniques and reservoir engineering to maximize the production of oil and gas.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting research on potential drilling sites
  • Designing and implementing plans for oil and gas extraction
  • Monitoring and analyzing production data to optimize efficiency
  • Collaborating with geologists, geophysicists, and other engineers to determine the best extraction methods
  • Overseeing drilling operations to ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Evaluating well performance and implementing techniques to improve production
  • Developing cost estimates for projects and providing recommendations for cost reduction
  • Staying updated on industry developments, new technologies, and regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong understanding of drilling techniques, reservoir engineering, and production optimization
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Proficient in relevant software programs such as CMG, Petrel, or Eclipse
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English is preferred
Benefits
