Job summary

ACCOR in Doha is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to deliver assessments, orientations, stretching and one-on-one sessions. You will build a loyal client base and provide personalized service to members within our facilities.

The role emphasizes maintaining PT records, demonstrating proper technique, operating equipment, and participating in meetings while upholding excellent customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and professional presentation.
• Current PT certification and CPR/AED are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer fitness evaluations, orientations, stretching and personal training sessions.
• Establish and grow a personal training client base per standards.
• Provide a high level of personalized attention to members.
• Maintain knowledge of health club programs and products.
• Update and maintain Personal Training Records.
• Instruct and demonstrate proper equipment and exercise techniques.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to members and prospects.
• Adjust and operate all fitness equipment as needed.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Attend Personal Training meetings as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer fitness evaluations orientations stretching and personal training sessions
• Establish and maintain a personal training client base according to company standards
• Provide a high level of personalized attention to members
• Maintain knowledge and or participation in all health club and recreation services programs and products
• Update and maintain the Personal Training Records
• Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically
• Provide each member and potential member with the best quality customer service
• Adjust and operate all fitness equipment
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Attend Personal Training related meetings
• Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing sitting running walking jumping squatting bending and reaching
• customer related experience an asset
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a professional presentation
• Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification (preferred)
• CPR/AED certification
• 1-3 yrs of previous Personal Training experience (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess honesty and personal integrity
• Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
• Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
