Job summary

Woopel in Lusail, Qatar is seeking a detail-oriented Surveyor to conduct land surveys for construction projects. The role supports engineers and architects, focusing on accuracy and timely delivery of survey data and reports.

You will use total stations, GPS, and laser scanners, while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards. The position is part-time (20 hours/week) with no accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Proficient in surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners.
• Knowledge of surveying software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English (fluency in Hindi is a plus).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys using various measurement tools and techniques.
• Recording precise measurements and collecting data on site conditions.
• Preparing survey reports and maps using specialized software.
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accuracy of survey data.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring they are calibrated properly.
• Adhering to safety regulations while working on construction sites.
