Want More is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist in Al-Khor, Qatar to collect blood samples and ensure safe transportation to the lab. The role involves greeting patients, selecting venipuncture sites, and maintaining accurate records, while following safety and privacy protocols.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, accredited phlebotomy program, and valid phlebotomy certification. English and Hindi skills are preferred; weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program
• Valid certification in phlebotomy from a recognized institution
• Previous experience in phlebotomy is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (preferred)
• Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends if needed
• Physically able to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain the blood draw process
• Identify the correct venipuncture site based on patient's age, health status, and lab test requirements
• Sterilize the site and draw blood using proper techniques
• Label and properly store collected samples for transportation
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and test results
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure patient comfort and prevent infection
• Adhere to all privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
