Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide pre-hospital care
• Assess the nature of an illness or injury
• Provide basic first aid and monitor vital signs
• Administer medications as appropriate for pre-hospital care
• Perform physical examinations and assist with patient care in an ambulance or at a healthcare facility
• Monitor vital signs and document patient information
• Stabilize patients requiring advanced life support interventions
• Transport patients to healthcare facilities
• Communicate with family members regarding the condition of their loved ones

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid Paramedic certification/licensure required
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly during emergency situations
