Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Security Specialist to lead OT/ICS cybersecurity initiatives in Doha. The role requires deep expertise in applying IEC 62443 standards, NIST controls, and cross-functional collaboration with automation vendors to strengthen industrial cybersecurity across the enterprise.

The candidate should have 10+ years in security engineering, SANS GRID or GCIH, and strong capabilities in incident response, threat analysis, and logs. Willingness to travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• SANS GRID or SANS GCIH certification is required.
• Expert Designer registration may be required.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity incident response and analysis across Windows/Linux logs and packet captures.

Responsibilities

• Develop a companywide cybersecurity management system per IEC 62443.
• Conduct cyber threat assessment workshops and provide recommendations for ICS approaches.
• Act as ICS security subject matter expert during FAT/SAT.
• Liaise with automation vendors on cybersecurity issues.
• Review and update cybersecurity architectures and supplier layout requirements.
