A leading consulting firm in Doha is seeking an Oracle SCM Procurement Functional Consultant to provide support for Oracle SCM solutions. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of relevant experience in implementing Oracle Cloud SCM and Procurement solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with IT and business teams to ensure integration, analyzing business requirements, and providing end-user support. Relevant Oracle certifications are required. Oracle SCM Procurement Functional Consultant

Project Duration: 1year

Project Start Date: Midof November 2024

Working Hours & Days 9 hours + 1- hour LB,5 days a week

The Oracle Fusion SCM/Procurement Functional Consultantposition is responsible for supporting Oracle SCM/procurement solutions toaccording to business needs. This role involves working closely with IT andbusiness stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality ofOracle SCM/Procurement modules.

Minimum of 6-7 years of relevant experience in IT,specifically in designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud SCM andProcurement solutions.

Experience withFusionSCM modules such asProcurement, Contracts, Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Portal, SupplierQualification Management, Self-Service Procurement, Inventory, ProductManagement, Product Hub, and Receiving.

Strong experience as an application support analyst orsimilar role

Experience in Oracle implementations and/or upgrades.

Knowledge of Oracle OTBI Procurement subject areas andreport development

Proven experience in translating business requirements anddesign into functional solutions

  • Workwith IT and procurement teams to support Oracle Cloud SCM and Procurementmodels, including Supplies Management, Procure-to-Pay, Sourcing, InventoryManagement, Contracts, Product Hub, and Supplier Qualification Management.
  • Createor validate Statements of Work (SOWs), high-level designs, and analyses tosupport Oracle SCM systems enhancements and projects.
  • Analyzebusiness requirements to determine optimal Oracle SCM solutions,anticipate potential issues, and estimate operational costs.
  • Supportend-users in resolving system issues and coordinate with QFIT to ensuretimely resolution.
  • Gatherand document requirements for business changes.
  • Workwith IT technical consultants to deliver business requirements.
  • Assistin change management and user training for Oracle SCM solutions.
  • Supportall aspects of Cloud Quarterly Releases from impact assessment throughtesting and defect support.
  • Createtest plans and coordinate testing with different stakeholders.
  • Implementrequired reports and dashboards in Oracle OTBI.

Provide your response with respect to required skillset

Strong knowledge of Oracle SCM modules, includingProcurement, Inventory, Order Management, Logistics, Contracts, Sourcing,Supplier Portal, Product Hub, and Supplier Qualification Management.

Ability to configureand perform all required setup for Oracle SCM and Procurement modules.

Ability to resolvesupport issues and deliver improvements for Oracle Fusion SCM and Procurementmodules.

Ability toeffectively communicate technical and business problems to both technical andnon-technical stakeholders.

Strong written,verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to prioritizeand execute tasks in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Proven ability todeliver tasks on time and adhere to deadlines.

Proficiency with MSOffice applications.

Strong presentationskills with the ability to present to senior managers.

Proven ability toapply clear critical thinking in complex situations.

Certifications:

Relevant Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle SCM CloudImplementation Specialist).

IT industry standardsand frameworks certificates such as ITIL, COBIT, or TOGAF.
