Job summary

India Abroad is seeking an experienced Optometrist for our Doha, Qatar clinic. The candidate should hold a valid optometry license and have at least two years of hands-on experience in eye care, including prescribing glasses and contact lenses.

Responsibilities include conducting acuity, depth, and color vision tests, performing refractions, diagnosing eye diseases like glaucoma, and performing minor procedures such as foreign body removal.

Qualifications

• Degree in optometry or equivalent and an active license.
• Minimum of two years of proven experience as an optometrist.
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to measure visual acuity, depth perception, and color vision.
• Perform refractions to determine correct glasses or contact lens prescriptions.
• Diagnose eye diseases such as glaucoma and provide needed care.
• Carry out minor procedures such as foreign body removal.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and ensure quality eye care.
