Are you an experienced electrical engineer looking to apply your expertise in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector? We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in the management of a large-scale (100MW+) solar photovoltaic power plant.

The Role :

As the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day control and monitoring of our state-of-the-art solar power plant. Key responsibilities will include :

Monitoring the performance of all solar power generation equipment, including PV panels, inverters, batteries, and tracking systems

Conducting regular inspections to identify and address any issues affecting energy production

Troubleshooting plant performance problems and collaborating with technical teams to resolve them

Analyzing energy output, system efficiency, and weather data to optimize plant performance

Adjusting panel angles and tracking systems to maximize energy absorption

Promptly responding to alarms and abnormal operating conditions to maintain consistent power generation

Preparing detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on plant operations

The Ideal Candidate :

To be successful in this role, you will need :

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on solar / photovoltaic systems

8-10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years working with large-scale (100MW+) solar power plants

Extensive knowledge of PV system design, operation, and maintenance

Strong understanding of grid integration and coordination with utility providers

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and reporting skills

The ability to work rotating shifts and perform onsite inspections as needed
