Job summary

A leading drilling services provider in Qatar is seeking an Assistant Driller for offshore operations on a jackup rig. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 5 years of offshore experience, and possess relevant certifications. Competitive salary between QAR 12,000 to 18,000 per month, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years on offshore rigs, with at least 3 years as Assistant Driller or Senior Floorman.
• Jackup rig experience preferred with familiarity in QatarEnergy well control protocols.
• Certifications such as IWCF Well Control Level 3 and OPITO/BOSIET + HUET required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Driller in operating drilling equipment.
• Enforce QHSE policies and conduct safety checks.
• Train junior crew on rig procedures.
• Document drilling progress and equipment malfunctions.
