Job summary

The Taleb Group and the Turskish Hospital in Doha, Qatar, seek an experienced Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist / Gynaecological Surgeon to join our clinical team. The role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent surgical skills, and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities include specialized obstetric and gynecological care, open and minimally invasive procedures, and collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and specialist qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Current registration/licence to practise with the relevant medical regulatory authority.
• Experience in gynecological and obstetric surgery.
• Competence in a range of the listed procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultation, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up for obstetric and gynaecological patients.
• Perform appropriate surgical procedures safely and effectively.
• Assess patients pre-operatively and provide appropriate post-operative care.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with anaesthetists, nurses, midwives and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, infection prevention, patient safety and professional standards.
• Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews and quality improvement activities.
• Provide clear communication and appropriate counselling to patients and their families.
• Maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuing professional development.
