Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Nurse to join our team in Doha. We are a well-established healthcare provider seeking out candidates with a passion for providing high-quality care. As a Nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. You will also provide education and support to patients and families on health care problems, medications, nutrition, and wellness.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition by obtaining medical histories; conducting physical examinations; analyzing laboratory data; evaluating diagnostic tests; taking vitals and other health measurements; providing patient education and counseling; responding to life saving situations; initiating referrals for additional services as needed.
  • Diagnose acute and chronic conditions based on patient presentation.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the physician or other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by the physician or other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments or procedures and adjust accordingly.
  • Perform routine treatments such as wound care, dressing changes, IV therapy, injections, etc., according to established protocols.
  • Educate patients and their families about health promotion strategies such as diet/nutrition, exercise/fitness training programs, stress reduction techniques, etc., as appropriate for age-specific needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to family members concerning health maintenance techniques, disease prevention strategies, living conditions that affect health status, etc.
  • Participate in research activities when appropriate to improve medical care outcomes and patient satisfaction levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of all patient assessments including medication history charts/records as well as other pertinent information related to their medical history or treatment plan progress notes.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited university or college is required for this position.
  • Must possess valid State licensure or certification as an RN (Registered Nurse) or APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse).
  • Previous experience working in a hospital setting is preferred but not required if applicant has completed an accredited nursing program within the last two years from date of hire.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbal & written along with strong organizational skills & attention to detail background in clinical practice guidelines & standards of care is highly desirable.

Salary: 1100 QAR
