Job summary

Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar seeks a Neurosurgery Specialist who will work in a team and report to the Consultant, Section Head and Department Chair. The Specialist will support the Consultant in clinical service and contribute to an integrated strategic vision and planning for Clinical, Research, Education and training to improve patient care.

Qualifications

• Arab Board Qualification or any equivalent Qualifications (Jordan, India, Sudan and others).
• Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in Neurosurgery, with experience in cerebrovascular and skull base surgery gained from a Government, Semi-Government, or Private Teaching Hospital after obtaining the relevant qualification.
• Valid medical license/registration from the home country and/or eligibility for licensing in Qatar
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Commitment to high standards of patient care, patient safety, and clinical excellence

Responsibilities

• Work in a team setting and support the Consultant in clinical duties.
• Participate in patient management within delineation of privileges.
• Contribute to research as part of the Academic Health System strategy.
• Contribute to delivering strategic vision for Clinical, Research, Education and training.
