Job Title: Truck Driver

City: Doha, Qatar

A well-established transportation company in Doha is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a large commercial vehicle to transport goods across the city.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and maneuver a large truck in all types of weather and road conditions
• Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure packaging
• Plan routes to maximize efficiency and timely delivery of goods
• Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues or malfunctions
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
• Keep accurate records of mileage, hours driven, fuel consumption, and deliveries made
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers via radio or phone

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in a city setting
• Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and truck maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate GPS systems and navigate through unfamiliar routes
• Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and loading/unloading goods
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)

Salary

The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
