Job description

Responsible for performing high-quality welding of metallic piping systems in accordance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and project standards. Must be qualified in 6G position (GTAW) and experienced in welding Super Duplex, Duplex, and Stainless Steel materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform GTAW (TIG) welding on metallic pipes in 6G position as per approved project WPS.
• Weld Super Duplex, Duplex, and Stainless Steel materials with precision and quality.
• Interpret and follow isometric drawings, WPS, and piping standards.
• Prepare pipes for welding including fit-up, beveling, and alignment checks.
• Conduct visual self-inspections and maintain weld quality throughout production.
• Follow all safety, quality, and project procedures during fabrication and installation.
• Participate in qualification tests and maintain certification as required by the project.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certified Welder (6G / GTAW) - qualification to be done as per approved project WPS.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in metallic pipe welding.
• Strong expertise in Super Duplex, Duplex, and Stainless Steel welding.
• Knowledge of ASME / AWS standards and welding safety practices.
• Ability to read and understand ISO drawings and piping specifications.
