Merchandiser (Ar-Ruwais, UAE) We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are properly displayed and promoted in stores and other retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with sales and marketing teams to develop effective merchandising strategies to increase sales
• Plan and execute product displays in retail stores, ensuring they are visually appealing and attract customers
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
• Collaborate with store managers to negotiate prime shelf space for our products
• Train store staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques
• Ensure that all promotional materials are displayed accurately and according to brand guidelines
• Track sales performance of products in different locations and make recommendations for improvement
• Perform regular store visits to ensure product placement is optimized
• Provide feedback on customer preferences and buying habits to inform future merchandising decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role within the retail industry
• Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalam language skills is a plus)
• Proven track record of successful merchandising strategies resulting in increased sales
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for data analysis

Compensation & Contract

This is a contract job with an initial salary of $1200 per month. The successful candidate must have a valid biometric passport for travel purposes. As we are looking specifically for Malayalee candidates, preference will be given to those who have knowledge of the local market and consumer behavior.
