Job summary

Job Title: Mechanic

Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: QAR 1200 per month

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in automotive repair and maintenance
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to transport tools and materials to job sites
• Must be able to troubleshoot problems with vehicles and make the necessary repairs
• Must be proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, etc. for vehicle repair and maintenance
• Must possess basic computer proficiency for the completion of paperwork and other duties
• Should have a solid understanding of electrical systems, braking systems, suspension systems and other automotive components as well as their functions
• Should be organized, reliable, punctual and have excellent customer service skills
• Should demonstrate strong communication skills (written & verbal) in English. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles including oil changes, tire rotation/repair, brakes/suspension repair, engine tune-ups, etc.
• Diagnose issues with vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment such as code readers.
• Perform minor auto body work such as replacing windshields or headlights.
• Replace worn parts such as brake pads or wheel bearings.
• Test vehicle systems to ensure proper functioning including checking electrical components & emission control systems.
• Communicate with customers regarding diagnosis results & required repairs to ensure customer satisfaction.
