Job Summary:

We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of automotive maintenance and repair, from diagnosing issues and offering solutions to repairing engines and their various components. The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas of automotive repair, have a strong work ethic, and be able to work independently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

The Mechanic will be responsible for the following:

• Diagnose mechanical issues on all makes and models of vehicles
• Repair engines, transmissions, axles, brakes, radiators and other components
• Perform preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections and flushes
• Install parts such as batteries, filters and spark plugs
• Keep accurate records of repairs completed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety procedures when handling tools or working on vehicles.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a mechanic with experience in all areas of automotive repair
• Previous experience with diagnostic equipment preferred
• Ability to multitask efficiently while also paying attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
