Job summary

University of Doha for Science and Technology invites applications for a Lecturer position in Mathematics within the College of General Education. The role focuses on teaching first- and second-year courses across the General Education Curriculum, including Algebra, Calculus, and MATLAB programming.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, plus a minimum of three years of teaching experience in higher education.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics is required.
Post-graduate certificate in education teaching methods, or equivalent, is desirable.
A minimum of three (3) years of full-time teaching experience in higher education or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

Teach first- and second-year Mathematics courses in the General Education Curriculum, supporting all UDST programs.
Cover courses such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus I&II, Statistics, Linear Algebra, Numerical Methods, and MATLAB programming.
Contribute to curriculum development, assessment design, and student learning supports.
