Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Mason to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in the field of masonry work, such as building, repairing and restoring walls, chimneys, fireplaces, and other structures from a variety of materials including brick, stone, concrete block and other masonry materials.

Our responsibilities for this role are as follows:

• Preparing and laying out foundations and footings;
• Cutting and shaping stone to specified measurements;
• Mixing mortar from cement, sand and water;
• Constructing walls using a variety of materials including brick, stone, concrete block and other masonry materials;
• Installing lintels into walls according to building code specifications;
• Repairing damaged masonry structures as needed;
• Assisting with the installation of precast concrete components.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate must also be able to read blueprints or drawings accurately. Knowledge of local safety regulations is a plus.
