Job summary

India Abroad in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a reliable Mason to join our team. The successful applicant will build and repair concrete and masonry structures such as walls, walkways, driveways and other surfaces, working independently or with a crew of masons, carpenters and laborers.

The role requires reading blueprints, mixing mortar to specifications, and using tools like saws, levels, trowels and hammers. Travel to sites across Doha may be required; a valid driver’s license is preferred.

We are looking for a reliable Mason to join our team in Doha. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating and repairing concrete and masonry structures, such as walls, walkways, driveways and other surfaces. The Mason must be able to work independently as well as with a team of other masons, carpenters and laborers.

Job Description

The Mason will be responsible for preparing the site where the construction of the masonry structure will take place. This involves clearing debris, digging trenches, preparing foundations and laying the bricks or stones that make up the structure. The Mason must also be able to read and understand blueprints and work with a wide range of tools including saws, levels, trowels and hammers.

The Mason must be able to mix mortar according to proper guidelines then apply it accurately on the surface where it is needed. They must also check their work constantly to ensure that all measurements are accurate and that all stones or bricks are properly aligned.

Requirements for the Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Mason who has experience working with concrete and masonry structures. A valid driver’s license is required as you may need to travel to different sites across Doha regularly. Candidates must have excellent problem solving skills as well as great communication skills.
