Job Summary:
Mason needed for construction projects in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing skilled labor and expertise in masonry and stonework. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Duties:
• Constructs masonry walls, floors, arches, fireplaces, chimneys and other structures by preparing, cutting and assembling stones or bricks.
• Works with tools such as trowels, chisels, hammers and saws to shape stone into specified dimensions.
• Installs reinforcing materials into stonework including metal rods or mesh.
• May mix mortar or grout used to secure stones in place.
• Inspects completed work for quality control purposes.
• Reads blueprints or drawings to determine the dimensions of structures.
• Follows safety protocols when operating power tools or working at heights.
• Maintains a clean workspace during the course of projects.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; no experience necessary
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings accurately
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs. without assistance repeatedly throughout the day
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively with other members of the team

Salary: 1000 QAR
