Qualifications

Job description

As part of our growing O&M team for the Ashghal Road Tunnel Program were looking for a talented Maintenance Engineer SCADA whos passionate about keeping critical systems running smoothly safely and reliably.

About the Role

In this role youll be the go-to person for maintaining and supporting distributed SCADA systems built on AVEVA System Platform across multiple tunnel sites. Youll help ensure continuity stability and compliancedirectly contributing to the safe and seamless operation of one of Qatars key infrastructure networks.

What Youll Be Doing

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for SCADA nodes and control rooms.
• Troubleshoot software communication alarm and system performance issues.
• Handle system patching backups redundancy checks and failover testing.
• Monitor historian data alarms system integrations and overall SCADA health.
• Maintain logs RCA reports maintenance documentation and change records.
• Work closely with OEMs consultants and internal teams for improvements and escalations.
• Support activities related to cybersecurity asset lifecycle and system upgrades.

What Youll Bring

• 56 years of hands-on SCADA maintenance experience (infrastructure / utilities experience is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of AVEVA System Platform Intouch / OMI Historian & Galaxy Repository.
• Familiarity with PLCs Schneider Siemens or Rockwell.
• Good understanding of OPC UA / DA industrial networking redundancy and remote architectures.
• Solid troubleshooting reporting and communication skills.
• Qatar driving license is a plus

Education & Certifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Electronics Instrumentation or Mechatronics Engineering.
• AVEVA System Platform certification is highly preferred.
• Networking or cybersecurity certifications are an added advantage
