Job summary

SpeedLine Logistics UAE is seeking a Long Haul Truck Driver to transport goods across long distances from Al-Khor, Qatar. You will operate company trucks, plan routes, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining safety and vehicle condition.

We require a biometric passport, a clean driving record, and at least 2 years of long-haul experience. Strong English communication is essential; Arabic is a plus. This is a full-time on-site position with accommodation provided.

Qualifications

• Valid biometric passport (preferably Egyptian).
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver (long haul experience preferred).
• Ability to work long hours and travel long distances.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned or leased trucks to facilitate the delivery of goods.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trucks, including regular oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
• Keep records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transportation and safety regulations.
• Communicate with dispatchers or route planners to report any delays or issues on the road.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain a clean truck and ensure that all cargo is properly secured for transport.
