Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for an AOR Logistics Coordinator. This position will be located in AUAB, Qatar and will be an on‑site position.

Responsibilities

The contractor shall establish an AFCENT forward commercial off the shelf (COTS) supply channel and liaise with military aerial port personnel while maintaining control of AFCENT AOR assets. Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment.

Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.

  • Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life‑cycle of product.
  • Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, production departments, and field service personnel to ensure meeting of contractual commitments.
  • Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities.
  • Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing, problems arising from location of operational area, and other factors, such as environmental and human factors affecting personnel.
  • Develops and initiates preparation of handbooks, bulletins, and information systems to provide and supply logistics support.
Qualifications

Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience
  • Intermediate‑level practical experience, obtained within the last 10 years, in the following: logistics/supply management, cargo; military and commercial transportation requirements, methods, services, procedures, and documentation; logistics of medium‑scale deployments to forward areas; USAF logistics/supply protocols, procedures and forms; DoD and AF forms (Form 9 (Request for Purchase), AF Form 601(Equipment Action Request), AF Form 2005 (Issue/Turn‑in Request), DD Forms 1575 and 2332 (Product Quality Deficiency Tags), DD Form 1149 (Shipping Document))
  • 3‑5 years’ OCONUS experience with USAF‑specific procedures and documentation

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at‑will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

USD $72,000.00 - USD $76,000.00 /Yr.
