Job summary

India Abroad in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Light Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing transportation services to staff, clients and partners, and for maintaining vehicle safety and timely arrivals.

Requirements include a valid driving license, good knowledge of Doha routes, ability to read maps or use GPS, and the ability to lift heavy items. English is preferred but not required. We offer 1,000 QAR per month plus medical insurance and annual leave.

Responsibilities

• Driving safely and observing all applicable rules and regulations while transporting personnel and goods.
• Carefully inspecting the vehicle prior to use to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Maintaining records of trips, including distance travelled, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs.
• Following designated routes in order to reach destinations within the specified time frame.
• Ensuring that the vehicle is kept in good condition at all times.
• Providing timely communication with the relevant department if any issues arise during a trip.
