Job summary

PPOAR in Doha is seeking a reliable Light Driver to support distribution of goods in Qatar. A valid light-vehicle license and solid knowledge of local routes are required. Experience driving various light vehicles is preferred, with flexibility for nights or weekends as needed.

This part-time position includes accommodation and focuses on safe driving, timely deliveries, and proper record-keeping. Candidates should be able to work independently and understand traffic laws in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Light Vehicle)
• Malayalee nationality preferred
• Experience driving light vehicles including cars, vans, minibuses
• Excellent knowledge of local roads in Qatar
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends

Light Driver – Malayalee, Qatar

We are looking for a reliable Light Driver to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driver’s license and have experience driving light vehicles. Preference will be given to candidates who are Malayalees.

Responsibilities

• Operating vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle
• Ensuring that all safety requirements are met when driving
• Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as needed
• Keeping detailed records of trips and vehicle maintenance
• Respecting traffic laws and speed limits
• Delivering goods to predetermined customers on time
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance such as checking oil, fluid levels, tires, etc.
• Complying with applicable laws and regulations regarding the transport of goods

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Light Vehicle) with Malayalee nationality preferred
• Proven experience driving light vehicles including cars, vans, minibuses, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and areas within Qatar
• Ability to follow safety procedures and adhere to traffic laws
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good physical condition with no medical issues that may impair driving abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights or weekends if needed
