Job description

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Light Driver to join our team in Ar-Ruwais.

As a Light Driver you will be responsible for operating light vehicles such as cars and vans to transport goods and people.

Your main duties will include picking up and delivering items, maintaining the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle, and ensuring safe and timely transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate light vehicles to transport goods and people to various destinations within Ar-Ruwais.
• Pick up and deliver items according to assigned schedules.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
• Perform regular checks on the vehicle's condition and report any issues or concerns immediately.
• Follow traffic rules and regulations, ensuring safe driving practices at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when needed.
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption and other necessary information.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor to update on progress or any issues encountered during work hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Light Driver in a similar role.
• Valid driver's license for light vehicles in Ar-Ruwais, preferably Nepali.
• Good knowledge of Ar-Ruwais roads, traffic rules and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; basic knowledge is accepted.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 12th pass is accepted.
• Good physical condition with excellent eyesight and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary

1300$ per month, negotiable depending on experience.

Contract Type

Full-time with possibility of renewal.
