Role Description

The Licensed Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. In this position, the therapist provides professional therapeutic and body massage services, including specialized techniques such as Shiatsu, tailored to clients’ needs and preferences. Daily responsibilities include conducting client consultations, assessing areas of tension, performing appropriate massage treatments, and offering guidance on stress management and wellness practices. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe treatment space, accurate session documentation, and working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistently high levels of customer service. The therapist is expected to adhere to professional ethics, follow company protocols, and contribute to a welcoming, respectful environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques, with the ability to adapt treatments to individual client needs. Practical experience with Shiatsu or related traditional Asian bodywork modalities, or willingness to learn and apply these methods. Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a client-centered approach to care. Knowledge of Stress Management principles and the ability to provide basic guidance on relaxation and wellness practices. Valid massage therapy license or certification recognized in Qatar, or eligibility to obtain required local credentials. Understanding of hygiene, safety, and professional boundaries in a massage therapy setting. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on client demand. Prior experience in spa, wellness center, or clinical massage settings is an advantage. Basic English communication skills; additional language abilities are a plus.
