Job summary

ConFlip in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a Reference Librarian to provide reference and research support, assist patrons with materials, and teach effective use of library resources.

The role involves developing instructional materials, contributing to collection development, and collaborating with librarians on programs and services for the community. Fluency in English is required; Malayalam is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science or Information Science from an accredited institution.
• Strong knowledge of reference sources, search strategies, and information retrieval tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well with diverse populations including students, faculty, staff, and community members.
• Familiarity with current trends in library services and technology.
• Experience working in a reference or research environment preferred.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Malayalam is a plus.
