Librarian - Indian Nationals (Contract)


We are a reputable educational institution based in Doha, seeking a highly qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team. As an Indian national, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and vibrant environment while utilizing your expertise in library management.

Responsibilities:
- Manage library resources, including books, periodicals, and digital materials
- Develop and implement library policies and procedures
- Catalogue and classify new materials using appropriate systems
- Assist students and faculty with research inquiries and provide guidance on information literacy
- Plan and organize events to promote the use of the library
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate information literacy skills into lesson plans
- Maintain accurate records of library inventory, circulation data, and user statistics
- Train and supervise library staff as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Librarian
- Knowledge of cataloging systems, metadata standards, and information retrieval tools
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
