Role Overview
We are seeking senior legal professionals at the Consultant and Senior Consultant levels to provide strategic legal leadership, high-level advisory, and risk management oversight. These roles ensure the organization operates within legal and regulatory frameworks, manages enterprise-level legal risks, and supports major corporate initiatives and transactions.
Key Responsibilities
For Both Levels
- Provide strategic legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
- Oversee and advise on high-value mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and complex contracts.
- Lead enterprise-wide legal risk management programs.
- Ensure the organization’s operations comply with domestic and international laws.
- Advise executive leadership on litigation, disputes, and regulatory investigations.
- Represent the organization in high-level negotiations, arbitration, or external forums.
Additional for Senior Consultant
- Shape the long‑term legal strategy and corporate governance framework.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the board and C‑suite on all legal and regulatory matters.
- Lead large‑scale legal transformation initiatives across multiple business units.
- Influence sector‑level or national legal and regulatory policy where applicable.
- Mentor senior legal teams and build organizational legal capability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Law, LLM, or equivalent; Bar admission/license required.
- Consultant: 17–19 years of experience in strategic legal advisory, corporate law, or in‑house counsel roles.
- Senior Consultant: 20+ years of experience in executive legal leadership, including strategic advisory and governance.
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional knowledge of corporate, commercial, employment, intellectual property, and regulatory law.
- Expertise in strategic legal advisory, corporate transactions, and litigation management.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
- Proven ability to influence policy, strategy, and organizational decisions.
- Ability to lead complex, high‑value legal initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.
Preferred Certifications
- Bar admission/license.
- Advanced certifications in corporate law, arbitration, M&A, compliance, or intellectual property law.
