Lead Quality Control Officer – Corporate Security

Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Security team as a Lead Quality Control Officer – Corporate Security to be based in Doha, Qatar.

In this role, you will be responsible to support team in implementing and maintaining high standards of physical and electronic security across Qatar Airways’ commercial and residential properties and also assist in audits, inspections, system evaluations, and ensure operational compliance with internal policies and industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections and quality checks of physical security infrastructure including access control systems, CCTV, perimeter fencing, lighting, and guard deployment.
  • Assist line manager in evaluating electronic security systems for functionality, reliability, and integration across properties.
  • Support the documentation and tracking of audit findings, corrective actions, and system performance metrics.
  • Monitor compliance with internal security protocols and assist in preparing reports for management review.
  • Coordinate with vendors and technical teams for maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic security systems.
  • Participate in incident reviews and contribute to root cause analysis and preventive measures.
  • Assist line manager in training frontline security personnel on equipment usage, emergency procedures, and quality standards.
  • Liaise with property management and facilities teams to ensure alignment of security measures with operational needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in physical and electronic security.
  • Support readiness for internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and assist in implementing mitigation strategies for identified vulnerabilities.
  • Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent with 3 years’ experience in an audit support, coordination and administrative role.
  • Trained in conducting aviation quality control activities.
  • Knowledge and experience in physical and electronic security measures.
  • Experienced in handling and processing security service provider contracts.
  • Experienced in conducting property security assessments.
  • Working knowledge of security contracts and security assessments.
  • Working knowledge and experience in use of AQD or similar aviation databases and other similar data capture tools.
