Job summary

A leading HSE consultancy in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced HSE Professional with a background in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field, and possess relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH. Responsibilities include monitoring compliance, leading incident investigations, tracking performance metrics, and conducting audits. Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSH) preferred.
• Root cause analysis certification (SCAT/Kelvin Topset/Taproot).
• Auditor qualification for ISO accreditation is preferred (ISO 45001/ISO 14001).
• 6 - 8 years of experience, with 5 years as HSE professional in the oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Report on non-compliance against applicable regulatory and other obligations.
• Assure effective application of established HSSEQ systems and processes.
• Lead investigations into high-consequence incidents.
• Track and analyze HSE performance metrics.
• Conduct internal HSE audits and inspections.
