Job summary

RMC Asia's Cultural Exchange Program offers a hands-on placement with Mandarin Oriental in Qatar. As a Kitchen team member, you will gain practical training, perform food preparation, and contribute to high-quality guest experiences in a 5-star hotel setting.

The program connects students and graduates with host organizations across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond, providing ongoing support and professional development throughout a 6-month tenure with intake beginning November 2026.

Qualifications

• Up to 35 years old.
• Enrolled student (any major) or recent graduate.
• Reference letter from school, college, or university.
• Conversational English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and cooking per standard recipes.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety practices.
• Support chefs with plating and station setup.
• Engage in training to improve cooking skills and learn from mentors.
• Assist in inventory and kitchen management tasks.
