Job summary

Abroad Work is seeking a Junior Product Designer to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. You will help create and develop innovative designs for our products, ideal for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, use design software, and contribute to new product development while learning manufacturing processes and quality control. This role offers visa sponsorship and flight tickets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in product design or similar role (consumer goods preferred).
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and create design concepts
• Use design software and tools to create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for new product development
• Present design ideas and proposals to stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed
• Work closely with engineers and manufacturers to ensure product feasibility and quality control
• Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in product design
