Job summary

NextWave Publications is seeking a Junior Construction Manager to join our Ar-Ruwais project team in the United Arab Emirates. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction activities on site, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years' experience, with strong English communication skills (Arabic a plus). On-site work and relocation support are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in construction management or related field.
• Proven ability to read project plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordination of construction projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues or conflicts.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management.
• Manage project budget and schedule to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers and team members.
