Job summary

Work in USA is seeking a Junior Accountant for our Ar-Ruwais team on a contract basis. The role focuses on supporting accounts payable/receivable, maintaining records, and assisting with budgeting and payroll tasks. Accommodation is provided alongside the position.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), strong Excel skills, and good communication abilities in English. Independent work and teamwork are both valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field (preferred).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English preferred but not required).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform basic accounting calculations and data entry.
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expenses reimbursements.
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
