Job summary

NovaMart Procurement is seeking an IT Manager in Umm-Salal to oversee all IT systems and infrastructure. This full-time role focuses on developing IT strategies, managing hardware, software, servers and networks, and ensuring security.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT, at least 5 years in IT management, strong leadership and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with security practices. Arabic knowledge is preferred, English proficiency is not required.

IT Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Umm-Salal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$, open to both men and women.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of our company's technology systems
• Manage and maintain all hardware, software, servers, and networks
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their implementation
• Ensure the security of our company's data and information by implementing proper security measures
• Plan and manage budgets for IT projects and expenses
• Oversee the training and development of IT staff members
• Provide technical support to employees as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in an IT management role
• Strong knowledge of networking, hardware, software, security protocols, and other IT-related systems
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure

Preferred

• Experience working in Umm-Salal or the Middle East region
• Experience managing IT projects from start to finish
• Familiarity with cloud computing solutions
• Knowledge of Arabic language
