A leading contracting firm in Qatar is looking for an IT Manager to oversee all technology operations and develop strategic IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience, including supervisory roles within the healthcare IT sector, and will be responsible for developing budget plans and leading the IT team. Qualifications

Job Summary

To Oversee all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals. Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.

Job Roles & Responsibilities
  • Establish the short and long-term strategy for the IT, translate it into business plans with objectives and performance indicators and report on the progress of activities against those plans to measure success to support the achievement of PIH’s strategic objectives.
  • Build and lead a motivated, engaged, and competent manpower throughout the IT, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Recommend an optimum organization structure for the IT in coordination with the superior and Human Resources, to ensure efficient and effective workflow of operational processes and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources in the development of the IT’s manpower plan to ensure timely and best‑of‑class delivery of tasks.
  • Prepare and recommend the IT’s budget in alignment to the respective annual business plan and ensure proper cascading into departmental budgets.
Additional Job Roles & Responsibilities
  • Work to implement the strategic vision, goals, philosophy, and direction of the enterprise by providing IT services, support and solutions and maintain focus on achieving these goals and objectives.
  • Utilize technology to analyze and develop statistical measures of IT’s performance metrics, reports, and programs.
  • Direct and manage the selection and implementation of EMR, PACS, and other healthcare systems, including writing RFP, evaluating, selecting, awarding, implementing and training.
  • Oversee integration between all systems in hospital, ensuring smooth data transition between clinical and business applications.
  • Oversee all technology operations (e.g., network security) and evaluate them according to established goals.
