Instrumentation Technician (X5) | Al Futtaim Engineering | Qatar

Responsibilities

• Participate in the technical support of facility instrument electronic, mechanical, and optical systems, including fabrication, installation, optical alignment, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
• Perform and oversee troubleshooting and maintenance to keep observing instruments operating at peak efficiency daily.
• Implement modifications to enhance performance or efficiency of observatory instruments.
• Fabricate and modify electronic/electrical assemblies based on schematic drawings and engineering documentation.
• Conduct shop maintenance, including repair, calibration, procurement, and documentation, ensuring availability of parts, supplies, and manuals.
