Job summary

Drgok is seeking an experienced Instructor Weapon System Officer (IWSO) for Live Fly – F-15QA in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will provide flight instruction to QEAF personnel and be assigned to their designated QEAF homebase.

A current secret security clearance is required. Essential duties include conducting academic and live flight events, managing training operations, and ensuring course adherence to the syllabus.

Qualifications

• Provider of flight instruction for QEAF personnel.
• Experience as FTU instructor with relevant flight time within last eight years.
• Ability to conduct courses and flight events per syllabus.
• Clearance to DoD ITAR/EAR governed information security policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform academic, training device, and live flight events.
• Manage training operations including scheduling, progress tracking, evaluation, and weapons/tactics functions.
• Conduct courses and flight events in line with the Course Syllabus.
• Create flight mission events based on syllabus content.
• Review trainees' training records for attendance and completion.
• Generate status reports on student performance and course progression.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Instructor Weapon System Officer/Live Fly – F-15QA
Doha, QAT

F-15 QA Instructor Weapon System Officer (IWSO) will provide flight instruction to Qatari Emiri Air Force (QEAF) personnel with follow-on assignments to their designated QEAF homebase. This position requires applicant to have a current secret security clearance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• The instructor shall perform academic and training device as well as live flight events.
• The instructor shall manage training operations to include, but not limited to trainee and instructor scheduling, trainee and training progress management, standardization and evaluation functions, and weapons and tactics functions.
• The instructor shall conduct courses and flight events in line with the provided Course Syllabus
• Instructor is responsible for creating flight mission events based off the subject matter presented in the syllabus.
• Flying missions require instructor personnel to conduct flight events prescribed in the flight syllabus.
• The instructor will review each trainee’s course training records for attendance and verify successful course completion.
• Generate status reports that shall provide visibility on student performance, attendance, student involvement, course progression/schedule at the end of each test and completion of course
• Other duties as identified and assigned.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience

• F-15E/S/SA/K/SG or F-15C: Instructor Pilots with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Formal Training Unit Instructor and relevant flying experience within the previous eight (8) years at hiring date.
• Other fighter aircraft such as F-16, F/A-18, F-35 or F-22: Instructor Pilots with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a fighter Formal Training Unit (FTU) instructor relevant flying experience within the previous eight (8) years at hiring date.
• Previous flight and training experience in the F-15QA Aircraft.
• Experience working with Qatari Emiri Air Force (QEAF) personnel.

Security Responsibilities

• Eligible and obtain a DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
• Must comply with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures.
• The instructor shall take all measures necessary to prevent foreign intelligence collection and/or the unauthorized disclosure of information governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulation (EAR). The instructor shall adhere to the information and technology controls required by DoD 5200-1.

Language Skills

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex words and technical documents/diagrams.

Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing and work effectively as part of a team.

Reasoning Ability and Mathematical Skills

Must be able to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Must be able to calculate figures and numbers, and percentages and be able to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
