Job summary

MCG Asia is seeking a Data Analyst to support decision-making through data-driven insights, reporting, and process improvement. You will collect, clean, analyse, and visualise data with internal teams to identify trends and drive performance.

The role requires translating business questions into analysis, presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders, and contributing to governance and best practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Around 2–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, advisory, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience in a professional services, consulting, financial services, or corporate environment is preferred.
• Strong skills in SQL and Excel, with experience in Python or R viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business and operational data to identify trends, issues, risks, and opportunities, and turn findings into actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support leadership and business teams with ongoing performance tracking.
• Collect, validate, clean, and structure data from multiple sources to improve accuracy, consistency, and usability.
• Support ad hoc analysis for strategic projects, business planning, client work, and process improvement initiatives.
• Present insights and recommendations in a concise, business-friendly format for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to better data governance, reporting processes, and analytical best practices across the organisation.
