Job summary

Flyper is seeking an Information Security Analyst in Umm-Salal, Qatar. The role focuses on protecting data and information systems, with emphasis on threat monitoring, risk assessment, and security policy development.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in CS/IT and at least 3 years of information security experience, plus knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security testing. English fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of information security analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus software.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001/27002, NIST CSF.
• Excellent communication to explain tech to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security logs to identify threats.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement controls.
• Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures.
• Perform vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents.
