Job summary

Greenland Group in Qatar is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate, and maintain industrial control systems on-site. You will read P&ID drawings and ensure compliance with safety and company standards.

The role requires 3 years of relevant experience, strong instrumentation and maintenance engineering skills, and the ability to troubleshoot transmitters, valves, sensors, and loops. You will document calibration records and support commissioning of new instruments.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 years in instrumentation and automation.
• Knowledge of P&ID drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to read technical specifications.
• Compliance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems.
• Maintain and calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, and other process instruments.
• Troubleshoot transmitters, control valves, sensors, switches, gauges, and loops.
• Read P&ID drawings, instrument loops, wiring diagrams, and specs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
• Maintain calibration records and maintenance reports.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards.
